This major financial services company was looking to relaunch its intranet with an aim of better communicating with its employees and increasing collaboration. Whilst they had many of the skills required to implement this project, they fell short in a number of areas – this is where slicedbread came to help.
Working initially on the business strategy slicedbread defined a vision, implementation plan and team structure to achieve this organisations goals. Augmenting this organisations internal capacity with expertise in information architecture, change management and SharePoint skills, this joint team delivered the first iteration of the new intranet in a few months.
Working on the principle of starting small and building out – the first release of the intranet provide a compelling platform for employee engagement – with technical aspects of the solution being delivered and then supported offshore a low total cost of ownership was also achieved.
